These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with SilverLine Executive Travels (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By making a booking, the hirer agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

1.0 Privacy / Use of Data

 

1.1

SilverLine Executive Travels is committed to protecting personal data and complying with all applicable data protection legislation, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

 

1.2

Personal data collected in the course of providing our services will be:

    •    Processed lawfully, fairly and transparently

    •    Collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes

    •    Adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary

    •    Accurate and kept up to date

    •    Retained only for as long as necessary

    •    Processed securely using appropriate technical and organisational measures

 

1.3

Personal data is used solely for the purpose of managing bookings, providing transport services, processing payments, customer communications, and complying with legal obligations.

2.0 Bookings

 

2.1

A quotation will be provided at the time of booking and will be based on the estimated mileage using the most appropriate route, including the driver’s journey from and back to base.

 

2.2

All bookings must be made in advance. The person making the booking must be 18 years of age or over.

 

2.3

It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that journey details, dates, times and contact information are accurate at the time of booking. SilverLine Executive Travels cannot be held liable for errors provided by the customer.

 

2.4

Booking confirmations and amendments will be issued via email once agreed. Amendments are not charged unless they result in additional mileage, waiting time or other costs.

 

2.5

Any amendments that materially change the journey may incur additional charges, which will be advised at the time.

 

2.6

All bookings are accepted on the understanding that the hirer agrees to these Terms & Conditions to the exclusion of all others.

 

2.7

Airport transfers must be booked in line with airline check-in requirements. Additional travel time may be required during peak or rush-hour periods.

3.0 Charges

 

3.1

All charges are quoted in GBP (£).

 

3.2

Once a booking is confirmed, prices will not change unless amendments are made by the hirer that result in additional costs.

 

3.3

A grace period of 15 minutes waiting time is included free of charge for standard address collections. 60 minutes free waiting time is included for airport or seaport arrivals.

 

3.4

If a passenger fails to appear at the agreed pickup time, additional waiting or parking charges may apply. Maximum waiting time is 90 minutes, subject to vehicle availability. Failure to make contact will result in the booking being treated as a no-show, and all monies paid will be non-refundable.

 

3.5

Vehicles will not wait in non-designated areas or where penalties or fines may be incurred.

4.0 Payment

 

4.1

Payment is made online via invoice. Alternative payment arrangements must be agreed in advance with a member of staff.

5.0 Cancellation

 

5.1

Bookings cancelled more than 24 hours before vehicle dispatch incur no charge.

 

5.2

Cancellations within 24 hours of dispatch will be charged at 50% of the booking value.

 

5.3

Cancellations after vehicle dispatch or no-shows will be charged at 100%.

 

5.4

In circumstances beyond our control (including weather, traffic incidents, strikes, road closures or force majeure), SilverLine Executive Travels reserves the right to cancel or make alternative arrangements. Where cancellation is necessary, a full refund of monies paid will be issued. No compensation will be payable.

6.0 Journey

 

6.1

Routes will be selected based on experience and prevailing conditions unless otherwise agreed at booking.

 

6.2

Chauffeurs aim to arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to pickup time. We cannot be held responsible for delays outside our control.

7.0 Health & Safety

 

7.1

Chauffeurs will comply with all road traffic laws and drive safely at all times.

 

7.2

Smoking, vaping, illegal substances and unauthorised alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited in all vehicles.

 

7.3

Seatbelts must be worn at all times. Child seats are the responsibility of the hirer.

 

7.4

SilverLine Executive Travels reserves the right to refuse carriage to any passenger whose behaviour poses a safety risk.

 

7.5

No animals are permitted except registered assistance dogs.

8.0 Passenger Responsibilities

 

8.1

The hirer is responsible for any damage caused to vehicles or their contents and agrees to cover repair, valeting and loss-of-use costs where applicable.

 

8.2

The Company is not responsible for damage caused by passengers to themselves or their belongings.

9.0 Property

 

9.1

All customer property is carried at the owner’s risk.

 

9.2

Passengers must ensure all belongings are removed at the end of the journey.

 

9.3

Lost property will be logged and retained for a limited period before being handed to the local police station.

10.0 Insurance

 

10.1

SilverLine Executive Travels holds appropriate public liability insurance. This does not constitute personal travel insurance.

11.0 Liability

 

11.1

The Company accepts no liability for missed flights, events or consequential losses caused by circumstances beyond its control.

12.1

13.0 Rights

 

13.1

SilverLine Executive Travels reserves the right to refuse bookings.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects the hirer’s statutory rights.
