  • How much notice do you need for a booking?
    As with any transfer the more notice we have, the higher chance of guaranteeing a vehicle being reserved for you, please call 0114 239 2529 or email: info@silverlinesheffieldtaxis.co.uk for any urgent enquiries/bookings.
  • Can we smoke in the car
    No, we do not allow anyone to smoke in the vehicle.
  • What type of vehicles do you have?
    We specialise in Luxury vehicles ranging from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi and Tesla.
  • Do you allow pets?
    No, we do not allow any pets for the safety of our drivers and to protect the interior of our vehicles. This condition is only exempt to Guid Dogs.
  • Do you have any minibuses?
    Yes, we can hold up-to 8 passengers at one time. Please select minibus as your preferred vehicle for the appropriate service.
  • Do I need to pay in advance?
    Yes, All booking must be paid in full to secure your transfer. Please ensure to check your invoice before making payment. Please call 0114 239 2529 or email: info@silverlinesheffieldtaxis.co.uk for any changes or concerns.
  • How do I pay for a booking?
    Upon receiving your invoice via email, there will be a pay now button. Here you can pay for your transfer using any major credit or debit card.
  • Can we eat/drink in the cars?
    We do not allow any food/drink in the vehicle. This is to prevent any accidents/spillages that may damage/stain the interior.
  • What areas do you cover?
    We are based in Sheffield. We cover Sheffield and all surrounding areas such as Chesterfield, Rotherham, Doncaster and Barnsley. Though we can cover your Executive travel needs outside of South Yorkshire. Simply Contact Us and we will review your enquiry.
  • Do you provide child car seats?
    We do not provide car seats, however we do allow you to bring and fit your own. If you have booked a return and need to leave the car seat behind. The driver can take this to the office, where it will be arranged for upon your return to be given to the next appropriate driver.
  • What if my plane lands early or late?
    All bookings require you to provide a flight number. This allows your driver to track your plane and arrive in a timely manner.
  • Who pays for the parking charges?
    The quote you receive will be inclusive of drop off charges and parking fees up to 1 hour waiting after landing.
  • Where shall I meet my driver?
    All drivers will attempt to meet & greet you inside the terminal with a SilverLine name board. Where possible your driver may contact you directly via phone or text, to arrange a pick-up point.
  • Will there be any breaks?
    Yes, for long distant journeys we do allow up to 15min at the services.
  • What time do I need set off for my flight?
    We take into account any potential delays and peak times when planning the journeys and a suggested time will be advised. This can be changed if requested.
  • Is there an extra charge for more than one pick up?
    Yes, our starting prices are based on one pick up/drop off. Any addiction pick up/drop offs will accumulate additional charges subject to time and mileage.
  • Can I use the Gold & Platinum packages to taxi the rest of my guests?
    No, These two packages are designed specifically for the newlyweds. Enabling them to take their time and having a relaxed transfer with a chance for photos by the car.
  • I want the ribbons on the car to match.
    We will try our very best to match the ribbons and you can email us a copy of your preferred colour.
  • I want the Red Carpet & Barriers for my child’s prom
    Yes, we can still provide you with this. After selecting the Bronze/Silver package, an option to add the Red Carpet & Barriers will appear. Please note; Adding the Red Carpets & Barriers will be an additional cost.
  • Are all the packages available for prom?
    Only the Bronze/Silver package options are available for Prom transfers. The Gold & Platinum packages are designed specifically for the newlyweds.
  • What is the difference between an Executive Transfer and a Regular Taxi?

  • How long will my driver wait for me?
    Our drivers will only wait up to a maximum of 15mins. After this time you will be charged and the driver can leave if there is no contact. Airport FAQs
